Best Places to Party in Orlando
Best Places to Party in Orlando
Most righteously branded as “Theme park capital of the world”, Orlando is perhaps the happiest place for kids and adults alike, with Disneyworld, Universal Studio, and SeaWorld all at one place! This is one city that ensures a complete fun package for everyone from those with kids to backpackers and solo travellers. With a number of activities to do and theme parks to enjoy, Orlando is always crowded with tourists, no matter what time of the day. Visit the Magic Kingdom and ride over Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Carousel of Progress, the Mark Twain Riverboat; enjoy this marine park with its animal shows!
While its nightlife is not the first thing which comes to mind when talking about it, but it certainly makes sure there is plenty to do even after the sun sets. Following are some of the neighbourhoods where you can enjoy Orlando’s charming nightlife. Check out the top 3 places to party in Orlando:
1. Wall Street Plaza
The Wall Street Plaza in Downtown Orlando is a go to place for an adequately ‘happening’ night of bar crawl. Sprawling over 10,000 feet, this block has plenty of bars and pubs lined next to each other, with the area being designed in such a way that there is ample space to dance and party as well. The block offers a fun mix of bars, restaurants, and nightclubs and every night it is in full swing with bachelor/bachelorette arties, tourists, and day trippers. But, despite that, it offers the most local experience as compared to other nightlife areas in Orlando. On occasions such as New Year Eve, Halloween, Rum fest, and other local festivals, Wall Street Plaza gets fully jam packed with revellers and the whole area turns into a lively party where it takes a fee to even enter the neighbourhood. You can start with the Hen House which is no nonsense tiny bar with craft bears, comfort snacks, and rare liquor. If you are a martini drinker, then head to Monkey Bar for a more sophisticated setting and expensive but delicious martinis.
2. Pointe Orlando
A short drive from Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld, Pointe is one stop offering you the best dining experiences ranging from haute to casual, a wide range of diverse shops, and when the sun goes down, the neighbourhood is pulsating with energy, live music, and party hungry crowd. There is always something going on here whether it’s a buzzing party or a show at its famous Improv Comedy Club, there are plenty of entertaining options for everyone. For drinks head to MINUS5 Ice Bar for a cool experience (literally) where everything is sculpted out of ice including the bar, seats, and walls and even the glasses. For a fun evening full of live music, head to B.B King’s Blue Bar, where crowds sway to throbbing music all night every weekend.
3. Universal CityWalk
The self-proclaimed epicentre of awesomeness, Universal CityWalk is located just before the entrance of the Universal Studios. It is the entertainment hub spot of the theme park with restaurants with every cuisine you can think of, mini golf, cinema and plenty of other entertainment options. What’s more amazing is that you don’t need an entry to the theme park to access this area, and even though the park closes at 8pm, the CityWalk is crowded till well after midnight! The biggest attraction is Hard Rock Cafe which is the biggest one in the world! With a wide variety of delicious food coupled with rocking music, The CityWalk becomes one of the hottest places in the area. If can’t decide where to go then buy tickets for Blue Man Group and you will get the whole package of entertainment, comedy, and music.
So, while your days are going to spent on epic roller coasters, make sure your nights are too by visiting the aforementioned neighbourhoods. Happy Tripping!
