1. Banff

The nearby natural attraction is Horse Thief Canyon, Horse shoe Canyon and the Hoodoos. Don’t forget to take a picture with the world’s largest dinosaur. A bus from the main bus station leaves once daily and reaches Drumheller in an hour and a half. You can also get a taxi from the city that drops you here in almost 50 minutes.

4. Okotoks

The landmark of the Big Rock, this day trip from Calgary is said to be transported far from its original glacial ice. This place other than this rock will keep you entertained with its countless eateries, art galleries, boutiques and many annual festivals. This place is a perfect get away to chill for a day. To reach here, take a bus from Greyhound Canada to get here in 35-40 minutes. rental taxis also take about the same time.

5. Lake Louise

Lake Louise is well known for the turquoise, glacial-fed stunning views of the lake, but there are more things to do here. 6. Canmore

This little town is sometimes overlooked from the popular Banff. But since it is located within the Canadian Rockies, it almost gives you the same fun activities as Banff, with a lot less tourist banter. The Downtown area is worth exploring, walking food tour, wander outside Canmore to Kananaskis Country and further. Hiking, biking, shopping, horse riding, rafting, golfing and cross country skiing are some of the fun activities that Canmore offers. Buses from Calgary take 1h 15 minutes to reach Canmore.
